I keep two blogs. My "personal reflections" blog title comes from the Talking Heads song "Once in a Lifetime." The older I get, the more the words resonate: Is this my beautiful house? Is this my beautiful life? I'm letting the days go by...Aging needs to be a process of becoming a role model rather than a time to mourn the passing of youth. My food and cooking blog is the result of many years of preparing meals and treats from a less-than-ideal kitchen. In 2013, my culinary efforts took on a new focus when I added a second, part-time residence as part of a career change. Now I keep two little kitchens; one in my house in Massachusetts, and the other in my weekday apartment in Connecticut.
